The kiwi vase first on the rank has the number 69/E and what looks like a price of 3/- (three shillings). I assume the 69 was 1969?? It is written in pencil. I am almost certain this is Crown Lynn. Basketball

I am having second thoughts about the first Kiwi. I read an article in a book today which had a picture (not the same colour) of what looked to be the same model kiwi. It referred to it being made in 1945 out of plaster (ulp!) I have to admit it does feel different to the other pottery but I just put it down to age and dull finish. It may not be Crown Lynn at all... Shocked

I think no 165 on the Crown Lynn Shape Guide was the only kiwi made by Crown Lynn...(please correct me if I'm wrong) ...

although there are many kiwi versions out there... I don't think they are CL ... lots of it I assume would have been tourist ware too...so quite common.
