Are the quite thin and sorta small, but really well made?

Re: Id Please ?
If so I will have a guess and say its 1280 pottery, which was run by potter Barry Ball

Re: Id Please ?
So did you eat my reply Tim?
I was saying what you said and now it's gone ..... vanished.
I have two pieces of 1280 ware -
one is a pin dish and has the same MADE IN NEW ZEALAND stamp -
the other is a dessert bowl that has a sticker that says Hand Made in NZ 1280 pottery.
I've heard that he had a group of Asian girls who did the decorating.....
would love to know more........
I do have one of Barry's studio pottery jugs as well -
I bought it from a church shop about 10 years ago for $15 -
the sticker said it was a Barry Brickell .......

I think what happened is there were post happening at the same time, and the wires got crossed.....or something!
My 1280 piece has 1280 scratched into it. There is an article on 1280 in a NZ potter I think....don't know where though.

Re: Id Please ?
I noticed the initials on your pieces spot20 and they probably relate to the person who did the decoration.
My dessert bowl with the sticker has PC faintly under the glaze on the bottom of the pot.
I will have to search through my NZ Potter mags and find the article about 1280 ... thanks Tim.
