Fakes - an opportunity to discuss authenticity...

Post  collectiques on Tue Mar 24, 2009 8:16 pm

There are a lot of claims made by traders and unfortunately sometimes the information isn't correct or is in dispute...

If you're dubious about authenticity of an item - post it here and lets see if other members can help out...

Trade Me auction 210941896 Rabbit

Post  sirod on Sat Apr 04, 2009 6:05 am

Krystal, the rabbit you are bidding on is NOT Crown Lynn.
It is made of a bisque type material and is made in Japan.
It is of a larger size than the Crown Lynn one, regards
Dori

Very Happy we could have like a topic for "fakes" & we could have "mistaken identitys" or "common copies" ?? because there is fakes out there *points at that dish* and there is copies or rather similar items more often put down with mistaken identity.
