It has such a chunky feel (reminds me of the old railway cups for some reason), but has no backstamp or identifying marks at all. No doubt it will turn out to be a Woolies special! Very Happy

can you take a side pic please hazedaze - it looks very much like the ashtrays that are often trickle/raw glazed ...

let me see if I can find an old pic ...
nope can't find it ... I had a trickle glaze blue ashtray years ago...

Listing #: 212785944 Trademe auction is the same shape ... I'm not sure because of the angle in the photo... do you think they look the same?

Here's a couple of side shots Jo. It's so difficult to tell from those photos with the trickleglaze, but it's possible that there are dips either side of the ciggie holder, whereas mine doesnt have those. Looks quite similar all the same.

Hi Hazedaze,
There are three similar ashtrays coming up in Jim's auction that Jim catalogued as C/L although there are no backstamps or moulded numbers. I defer to Jim's knowledge on these things but possibly will be corrected by someone who knows other info.
