Hi Thush, welcome to the forum. Smile Is the mark a 'G' interlocking with and 'L'? It would be great if you could post a pic of the pot. Identifying NZ craft-potters' marks is a bit hit-and-miss sometimes and you often need all the evidence including the size, form and glaze in order to make an educated guess about the maker.

Identification of craft pottery marks is tricky. There were just so many potters from the 60s though to the 80s (some very obscure), and they didn't always stick to the same cypher. Some got married and changed their names and some did funny things like the artist Doris Lusk, who painted throughout her career using her maiden name, but always potted using her married name 'Holland'. So you will find pots by Doris Lusk marked "D,H," geek

Anyhow, if you have time I would love to see another pic.
