Thanks for posting picture Jo, and thanks to anyone that can shed some light, I have 2 more pieces of this pottery, its almost porcelain like, very delicate.

No help at all but I just thought "kanjii' for some reason. Almost a Japanese signature. Probably way out of the ball park but.....!! Hope someone can help.
