There are a lot of claims made by traders and unfortunately sometimes the information isn't correct or is in dispute...

If you're dubious about authenticity of an item - post it here and lets see if other members can help out...

Fakes - an opportunity to discuss authenticity... Empty Trade Me auction 210941896 Rabbit

Post  sirod Sat Apr 04, 2009 7:05 pm

Krystal, the rabbit you are bidding on is NOT Crown Lynn.
It is made of a bisque type material and is made in Japan.
It is of a larger size than the Crown Lynn one, regards
Dori

one persons fake can be another persons mistake, but in time they can be almost as valuable as that, that they emulate, hold on to your fakes we says, if only to amuse.

Very Happy we could have like a topic for "fakes" & we could have "mistaken identitys" or "common copies" ?? because there is fakes out there *points at that dish* and there is copies or rather similar items more often put down with mistaken identity.
