Book or books on NZ Pottery, Can you recommend any please
Some time ago I saw a new book published which I think identified NZ pottery. I've forgotten it's title. I'd like to get it out of the library initially to see if it is what I am looking for. If so, I might buy a copy. I have several items of pottery that I bought because I liked them some years ago. I'd like to know who made them. Thanks

there are a few books mentioned on that section... for a start I'd recommend getting Gail Henry's "New Zealand Pottery Commercial and Collectable"...it's a great starting point

Thanks for your recommendation Collectiques...
After I posted the message I scrolled down and found a topic on books which mentioned the book I had heard of. Apparently it only has pencil drawings of the marks, and I agree with several others that actual photos would be preferable. I'm off to the library website to search for that book, Thanks again

I would be interested to learn more about both....
However, I have some pottery which I suppose you would call studio, as it was hand made by NZ potters......I am a real novice I would be interseted to find out who made those. I've reserved the book recommended by Collectiques, NZ Studio & Commercial Pottery at the Library, so will collect that sometime next week.
