Re: Fleamarket finds
Those colours (please don't ask me to repeat those long unpronounceable - to me - words ) LOL.... are stunning. So eyecatchingly different!
How DO you cope with all that 'dusting' and cleaning of all those treasures? 500 more pots.....That's just 50 or less soujournes to garage sales:-) Easy peasy! Then you need a bigger house!!!
Sorry for the delay in any replies, but I'm not the best at 'driving' just yet still (as Jo will tell you) as I keep losing postings etc.!!! There's hope for me yet! Sad eh!

Re: Fleamarket finds
It looks like what was called a 'weed pot' to me.....
I'm more interested in who made it though....
as the style looks very familiar.
ps.... no issues with access here.

There are 2 in the first LC book under the heading "Hand Modelled Textured Forms" and its just called a vase, its stoneware with an ochre or umber pigment.

I found a great book yesterday too...for $2 ... it was on a Italian Memphis designer "Ettore Sottsass - Ceramics"
It has a Dymocks $195 price sticker on the back!...so I paid really quickly and left
