So what does PAKA mean Empty Paka...

is an extrapalation of the earth-fire combination to make pottery[the maori equivalent],as used by Elizabeth Matheson,in establishing her type of pottery,when she started off showing with Olive Jones[1940 Centennial Exhibition,Wellington].

Apparently "Paka" is also the Maori word for baked or roasted
