Clogs by CL?
Did Crown Lynn ever produce Dutch clog shape planters/vases? Have a pair of them with an impressed number, which is not clear to read, and no other marks.

Thanks
Also found one currently on TM. My pair are no. 22419 or 2419 or similar so the no. is different but they are exactly the same mould shape and measurements as the CL ones. Another difference is mine are decorated with violets (transfers under glaze) and have blue points (toe, heel) and gold paint highlights. Mmm, still pondering....

Re: Clogs by CL?
I have a clog - the number is really hard to read though it looks like -57.
I am fairly sure though the crown lynn clog is number 515 on the shape guide. Perhaps Titian took over producing them later?

Re: Clogs by CL?
Just found that the crown lynn 515 clog later became a 2139-obviously later made at the Titian factory. Mine is glazed all over in two tones of brown with white brush strokes. If I was clever I would post a photo...

You're already clever to have found out about the clog. Go on - I bet you could even put up a photo! lol and thanks for the info.

Re: Clogs by CL?
Yup, same shape as mine - they must have had alot of fun painting them differently in the factory...
