I have a few egg cups-some CL- but mostly the English variety. I did have the CL duck one (dark green) I sold it to someone on TM (Kystal maybe??). I also have the frog egg cup so would be keen to find out where this one is from...sorry I know you are all sick of the egg cups now

I finally got a yellow seal eggcup and a red monkey came with it as well.
In my opinion they are both Crown Lynn ....
the egg holders match up...
and the absorption rate is the same .....
meaning the clay used is the same or similar.

Both the bases of the eggcups, monkey and seal, are unglazed.

Ev did say her brother had a green frog eggcup when she had her yellow seal, so they must be the same age.
I have seen the seals go from $20 -$45 so I guess the frogs are in there too...
As much as someone wants to pay?? -

Oh my goodness! I dont have the new duck either - but I do have several different colours of the hen and I am sure they all tie in with other crown lynn colours...
They might even match Tonykoni's seppelt bottle and kienhua ginger jar over on the other page....
Interesting discovery...

The egg cups weren't priced and even though I don't like egg cups heheh...I almost begged the lady to sell them to me

The two rabbit photo Collectiques. I'd have to dig it out from the depths of somewhere, but I have a feeling the one I have is more of a yellow colour and is either Royal Art Pottery or Keele St. IFFFFF I can find it, I'll post again
