I thought this time I had found a treasure but now I am not so sure - i think i will give up on identifying marks!! sanother sunflower mark??? July_t25ee what you guys thinks of this one

Well if it had a five sided box around it you could almost say it was a Mirek Smisek. Without that box, it is someone else. I have a very similar mark in my mystery section

Was that that gorgeous teapot with cane handle on T/Me. I thought that mark may have been Jan Cockell, but now I see the mark closer, hmmm, nothing like it really. I don't know what work Jan Cockell does but that looks like a nice shino, fired high. Now, it wouldn't have been Roger Smisek's mark would it. I think there was a photo of a saltglazed bottle on that cool NZ Pooersmarks website wasn't there Tim - I seem to recall it was more flower like in the flesh than the 'drawing' that is in the Marks of NZ Potters books. He was/is a good potter apparently.
