Re: white vase id please...
Thanks Jo & Shazz. So many variations on the same vase! Jeez! What date would we talking about?
While I'm here, I have another query please. This one I know for sure is C/L as it has the Tiki and 3 stars on the base (that's the sort of info. I like LOL), but I'm not sure exactly what the item was made for.
Is it a short bulb planter, a shallow tableware bowl/dish/ a drip tray for a plant pot, pie dish or maybe THE dish for the Crown Lynn collectors pet! LOL.(I don't have a Valerie R.M. book I'm afraid so the best I could do datewise was 40's - 60's maybe???)
It's only 17.5 cms. wide x 4.5. deep.
Cheers.

Re: white vase id please...
hmmm best I could help you with is a couple of Q'.. #1, is it high gloss and heavy like table ware or mixing bowls? if so.. its something that gets washed every day*ish* so it would be a kitchen dish of some sort, and #2.. if it's a matt finish like other C/lynn vases.. its a float bowlhazedaze wrote:Thanks Jo & Shazz. Re: white vase id please...
Thanks Shazz.....I understand exactly what you mean, but I'm still not sure I've put it all angles alongside my bud vase, Flair bud vase and the other two large vases I've queried. They all have a gloss sheen, but this latest bowl seems to be a different shade to the others. Leaning a bit more to the cream side!
Gee, that's a neet 'gadget' being able to be emailed when your post is answered! I didn't know it existed until I saw in on Jo's home page the other day. Brilliant.
