I had a good look at these pots at A+O. Strange how they say they are earthenware, from what I understand they are stoneware....there's a difference. But I guess it doesn't matter really? I dunno.
That branch pot went for $4100, much higher than expected, lots of bidding. But you know it really did look like the base had been painted with shiny brown paint, and there were several chips to the base.......strange
The Avian bowl also had a nice big chip to the rim, its stoneware too....hmmmmm $1200 for that one.

In the Stan Jenkins movie it shows Len Castle making one of those discoid vases....you can tell if its an early one or a later one by the lack or presence of the lip at the top...missing the lip means its early.
