retro? I thought they would be considered vintage and that's why they are so collectable

Perhaps a home made ceramic.
The basemarks look more homemade than German machine stamped and the chips and white clay give it away for me. But I have been wrong on literally thousands of occasions.

Early German wall pockets were marked in a similar way to these, the fully automated backstamping really didnt take a hold on the German pottery market until the late 60s

can anyone help identify this mark??????
There's a photo of an identical shape on page 24 of "Marrickville Potteries - Fowlers, Diana & Studio Anna". The glaze is much darker but the same colour. The caption says "Some of Diana's ever-popular wall or 'welcome vases". Diana Pottery ran from 1940 to 1975.
There were a variety of marks and stickers and as a general principal troughs were marked "T-", vases "V-", wall pockets "W-" and jugs "J-" or, to keep it interesting, "U-". Naturally there are some with no marks at all.
There's a wall pocket currently listed on eBay, 310077356874, with an impressed "Diana Australia W-2".
