Handpotted - what do you think? Empty Handpotted - what do you think?

Post  collectiques Fri May 09, 2008 2:59 pm

I was just about to put this shape on the Crown Lynn shape guide...however I had a look over on TM first and saw that a number of people had listed this vase ...hard to read but I think it is shape no 2070 ....as handpotted...I didn't think that this vase was handpotted...so I wondered what others thought?

Handpotted - what do you think? Dscf0042

Which reminds me ...we really dont have many if any handpotted examples on the shape guide yet...so if anyone can supply some photos from their collection that would be wonderful...thanks in advance ...Jo waterski

hrrm the ridges dont feel as big as they are on the outside but I can feel them slightly?...

this shape seems to be getting reasonable money on TM at the moment and I always thought they were just bulk standard ...

Handpotted - what do you think? Empty I agree all be it late LOL

Post  shazz Sat Feb 14, 2009 10:16 pm

NOT hand potted, only seems to be that people think they are because .. well, like alot of things.. one person says so, and everyone else follows. sad, but true. There is a similar shape, that could be why it''s confusing, but far less ridges from what I remember.
