who is this "lady in Melbourne" that copied Titian pieces?
There was a bit of a debate over wether a Titian moon vase I won, was actually Titian! it was suggested that a lady in Melbourne copied some of these pieces - any info one this would be great - thanks!

Kiwianna
Now shazz, the only thing ive heard of any copying of titian who projuced a number of ashtrays in the same style as the suveneer range, they visited the factory in the early 60s. They produced a number of these ashtrays and copied the brushed green glaze flash on the back and wrote new zealand on it. I know this after buying one at auction ans part of a titian collection.
Never heard of any other copy cats other than crown lynn allegedley making some moon vases once they baught the factory in the late 60s??
It should be safe and looks great in the pic

Moon vase
Shazz,
Have never seen a titian mark writen in this way before but you never know, ill have the folks look at it. I bought a moon vase a long time ago (about 7 years) which has a crackle glaze and completely white, it had fewer leafs and was much larger. This me thinks was a definate copy but I do not know who by. Your vase looks good to me apart from the mark which surprised me.
Hope that its genuine but if not it looks great anyway.
