Here is my large CH bowl I got at Webbs last year. Just over 16 inches wide. Any one know how much he sells his work for?

Visit to Campbell Hegan.....
What a fabulous day to visit potter's who have fantastic Auckland views!!
Campbell's studio at Beachaven looks out across the inner harbour from Pt Chev to West Harbour and all beyond with the glorious Waitakere Ranges rising up behind - it is so peaceful and ambient and hidden away from the world.... *sighs*
His work is very asian orientated at the moment -
where he dips his pieces into very thick slip that is inclined to leave gorgeous thick drips hanging onto his pots -
then he puts on his delightful squiggles and lines etc - he then covers with a thick glaze that leaves even more lucsious drips.... I will put up a photo later of a piece that I got.
He mostly sells his work overseas...... he did mention his big platters sold for something like $1000.00.
He had a collection of other potters work ranging from Hamada tea bowls to Andrew van der Putten jugs and teapots to Paul Fisher and all sorts in between.
I felt like Shazz did at Jeff's place - as there was too much to take in ... and too many questions that I didn't ask.
What a delightful unassuming gentleman he is and I was thrilled to meet the man who made my beautiful pots.

I love his feet/foots/footrings ????????
I noticed that he covers them with masking tape when he glazes his pots o_O
Reminded me of old chinese women who have their feet bound
