Mystery Mark - NR and Treble Clef symbol
Hey there, I have the NZ Potters mark book and it refers at the back to the "Mystery Mark" NR, do any of you know who NR is as I have a few pieces and they are stunning, I also have another lovely piece that has what looks like a treble clef symbol...any ideas?

I'm pretty sure I've seen that NR mark on Timcaultons www.pottersmarks.co.nz site ...I'll have a look and see if I can see it again...

Hey there, yes its in the back and listed as a mystery mark. I would love to know who it is because the pieces I have a beautiful, the blues are so yummy

actually nope...its on their mystery marks section too...http://www.pottersmarks.co.nz/unknowns/index_3.htm

yeah funny thats why the mark stuck in my mind I think...I've seen a few nice pieces...but sorry no idea who the potter was...
the treble clef...do you have a photo you could post to give us an idea?

Is that NR with the last stroke of the N being the first stroke of the R?
I have seen that mark attributed to Neil Roberston .... no idea who he is or where he is from though.

Yeah all those mystery marks at the back of the book are mine. I have seen that NR mark loads of times......still don't know who it is....

Im sorry to muck you all around on the NR, its in Tims book on page 106. The treble clef one I also spoke about....I just found it, also in the book and I think it is called a treble clef (lol) that mark belongs to Joy Small on page 113

Wish it was my book, I just helped out on it a small bit. NZ Potters Inc did the book. Yeah I have looked at that image on page 106 but I don't think it matches closely enough for me to be comfortable with......
