no marks that I can detect ...so its probably like a needle in a haystack...but I loved the glaze Very Happy

I got a salt glazed 'unmarked' green bottle last week ....
which just happened to have Mirek Smisek's mark on it -
though the salt glaze was so heavy that it was almost indiscernible.
I can only just make out his hexagonal mark shape with the little flicks from the sunflower Very Happy
To an untrained eye this wouldn't be noticed.
Check it out for any variations in the uniformed salt glaze.
My camera has gone kaka or I would show you a pic.
Nice find Jo Very Happy As unmarked means cheap!

funny you mentioned Smisek ev...because it reminded me of a bowl of his I sold a few years back....I've been scouring it for marks...but you're right the glaze is quite thick in places afro

no - that ones just at the base ...there are some many bumps and lumps in the glaze itsa very hard to tell

try talcing it, marks often pop out of a piece that has been talcum powdered and they smell nice too
