It looks as though www.kiwiana.org.nz
is no longer online ...
I'm wondering if we need to review the direction of our forum now to include areas they previously covered. Although we won't ever include prices as its just too inaccurate ....what do other people think?
If you used the site previously... what did you use it for? ...will you miss its contents?

yeh thats a shame eh
I used it alot as it was great for finding plate pattern names etc and its great when you can match your item to a pic as it makes it alot easier. Although the prices were not that accurate I did find it useful as it gave me a ball park figure. I looked it up the other day as I have some items Im going to sell on trademe to give me an idea of what they are worth roughly. One is the Titian dish with the auckland harbour bridge that I know was on there as I had seen it before.

after looking through the gallery I see you have got all the bases covered. Referring to what I said about the kiwiana site and pattern names. Ive spent ages poking around in here and alot more poking around to do yet. I know Ive said it before but this site is great, thanks heaps

I ended up ringing them Jo
apparently there is a way to contact them through the TM site, but I could'nt understand what she was saying.. im half deaf and she had an accent but I did point her towards the hthread, and told her it silly that there's no australian pottery section, and she said something about a vote and a news letter well, atleast they know now lol. apparently they take no notice of the threads in TM pfffffffft

Re: It looks as though www.kiwiana.org.nz
I wonder if they asked a few sellers who list there often ..about the changes...?
I suspect they probably made the changes in accordance with which sections were most used?
