I'll agree also, and these also can be found all over white - it's quite a distinctive white glaze that they used a lot. Cheers Alan

I was reading last night that Crown Lynn used some Glen Afton ball clay and one of the characteristics was the grey in the clay - they thought from coal, gum and carbon impurities

Will move this over to the Glen Afton section for future reference. Thanks for your help
