KSP
KSP stands for Keele Street Pottery!! I found a Sooty eggcup which I havent photographed yet and found the name on the base, googled it and found the name - also known as KSP!!! Havent found any other eggcups other than Sooty yet but I am on the trail!!!

I also found old King Cole and Bo Peep but all the site could tell me was that they were made in the UK

Re: Crown Lynn Egg Cup debate - [Edited by admin and merged]
Wow, this has been a really eye opening discussion.
I've got quite a large collection of eggcups gathered over the years and the "which are Crown Lynn, and which are not" issue has always puzzled me and I've seen many advertised in the past as Crow Lynn that aren't.
I've always liked the Nursery Rhyme ones and while I'm dissapointed they are not Crown Lynn, I still really like them as objects and they were all sub $2 buys..
I've also had a quick look at ebay in the "Egg cup" section and a number of the disputed ones show up with UK Sellers which I think is further evidence.
ie. RedRiding Hood & Wolf.

The "Monkey Head" one I've still not seen mentioned and that always seems to have a CL atribution.

Yes, the rabbit and basket are definately crown lynn! They feature in Val Monks book.

Floppy Ears is right there next to Green Bunny! As I said the two rabbits, the three squirrels and the red dog are Royal Art Pottery. The rabbits have the mark on the base and the red dog i picked up off a UK dealers site describing it as Royal Art.

3 of the Egg Cups + the Rabbit & Basket are on display at the Auckland Museum section on NZ Design. (If you havn't been its well worth visiting, in addition to the CL, Titan etc. they
have so much lovely studio work on display as well)
I actually wonder having seen it up close if the Rabbit & Basket is actually an Egg Cup or a small posy holder, the basket didn't appear to have an opening that is "egg holding shaped" - its more rectanglar than round...

don't quote me on this but I think my mum said once they used to get easter eggs in them...but whether they were the CL ones I"m not sure...
Re: Crown Lynn Egg Cup debate - [Edited by admin and merged]
Yes they definately used to have easter eggs in them, might take a number 7 egg but it is quite big - definately takes a marshmallow one!
