Re: Crown Lynn Backstamp Examples
Not sure how many there were - Valerie Monk's book has 133 pictured including two labels and early "Made in New Zealand" variations. There are also client specific ones and many variations of the pattern specific ones. As many as there are patterns I guess.
Here's the clearest MiNZ variation I've been able to snap so far:

Re: Crown Lynn Backstamp Examples
I'm also wondering whether I might do an extra web page just for CL backstamps - like the Crown Lynn shape guide.
I think they might be easier to search through when uniformly spread across a page?
What does everyone else think? Worthwhile for collectors as a resource or not?

Do you mean something like the way the marks were set out on my website??

Pretty much Tim -thumbnails perhaps ...but just smallish photos - small file size - easy to load...sort of thing...

Avoid re-inventing the wheel?
Agree with you about not reinventing the wheel - the problem is though Val Monks backstamp section would be her copyright ...and I guess I was thinking about those collectors who don't have a copy of that book or Gail Henry's book ...so I guess in a way we might have to double up ...in order to not cross over the copyright line...
worth thinking about some more anyway...

That is the first time that I've seen both stamps together .... thanks tonykoni.
in my opinion yes...I was told that years ago by a collector and especially cups are often marked that way....I guess they often can't fit the rest of the info in...mind you...much of the CL dinnerware is completely unmarked as well.
