Kelvin Bradford pots
Any one ever bought a Kelvin Bradford pot before? What sort of prices are we looking at?

I paid $100 for a piece last year ...... direct from Kelvin ...

So what sorta size are we talking? Was that at the ASP thing he did last year? All the work with cutting using a fine fishing line???

So I picked up this Kelvin Bradford floor pot the other day it's about half a metre tall, signed on the bottom and in perfect condition. Made about 1993. Its shell fired

Oh wow ..... where did you get it ....and what did you pay ... if I may be so nosey ....
The one I got was shell fumed and is about 17cm high by 11cms across.
He had this one that I photographed as well.... but it was going to Japan for his exhibition ...
just to show you what he does 15 years later .......*drools and dribbles*
He emailed me from Osaka last week after I sent him photos from the raku firing.
He exhibits in Japan every year..... though he did say that he hoped to have an exhibition at home this year.

yeah Im pretty surprised to get this pot for so little. like christmas really, who needs big money auctions when there are deals like this??

fishing line and holding your mouth just right works.....
I wish it was that easy ....
oh and throw your piece ever so thick to begin with..
then cut off at all angles to a rhythm in E minor ....
