# 709 - 1,2,3 Jugs
The smallest is un-numbered (pre-numbering) and I think came out with the Paris Ware tea set right at the start (right colour, right clay too). These moulds have had a long life and are still in use by the craft potter Catherine Anselmi who obtained them after the closure of Crown Lynn. Her jugs are hand painted and very colourful.
# 715 - 01, 2, 4 Crown Lynn Institution jugs (for Hospitals, Sanatoria, Mental Asylums etc)

The next several shapes are the "Wentworth Ware" line and they had a semi-non-standard numbering system. The round plates with native New Zealand clematis flower moulding and painted decoration are numbered respectively 123/4, 123/6, 123/8. The shapes, even though all are different appear to have been numbered as a 'set', not as individuals. The final digit after the slash refers to the rough diameter measurement of the plates in inches, ie. 4, 6 and 8 inch plates.

# 123/6 Six inch Clematis serving dish (Handpainted)
# 123/8 Eight inch Clematis serving plate

cool - thanks Titian - will upload it now
Popped in to Antiques of Epsom ...
this morning and Brian Ronson kindly allowed me to photograph some of his current stock for the Crown Lynn shape guide.
Brian is at 463 Manukau Road, Epsom and has a wonderful cabinet filled with New Zealand pottery for sale.
I couldn't photograph the lot as I was running short on time but I was sure tempted.
I have most identified but a few I can't read the numbers on the base - so any help there appreciated ... next time I'll remember the pen

Titian - would your miniature ones measure 2 5/8 inches high by any chance?
Re: Crown Lynn Shape Guide
Jo, yes the vases in the top two photos are all around 2 & 5/8 inches. They are unglazed on the bottom. The lower vase with the CL sticker is around 3 1/8 inches tall.
The blue trickle bowl is # 40 of which I think you may already have a pic. I don't think the US Army bowl was ever numbered because it was in and out of production before Ambrico ever formalised the numbering system, but you better check with crownlynn on this. Can't help with the tall brown trickle vase, or the Gaylite lady lampbase though.

Crown Lynn Mini pots
That's great Jo! There are actually 4 different shapes in those two photos. The two middle ones look similar but are in fact different.
Also, as small as these are, CL did even smaller pots. Do you think the ones in these photos have numbers too?
